![]() ![]() You might want to try solar arc directions. it might inform you some too, but generally you want to connect it back to the radix or natal chart. ![]() What you need to do is see how the sp data connects to the radix chart that is the basis for the progression, as opposed to looking at sp to sp data. Using the example you give here depending on the rate of speed of the moon, the sp moon will cross the sp ascendant in less then 4 months. all move in 1 year based on this principle of 1 day for 1 year. ![]() you will note how much the sun, moon, ascendant, midheaven and etc. do the sp chart for 2013 and compare it to 2012 using the same data with just the year changed. the angles in sp's move slowly and again it depends on the chart. the sp moon can move up to about 14 degrees in a day, so if 1 day = 1 year this is a little over 1 degree per month, depending on the rate of speed of moon tied to the date you are progressing. the sp moon is a bit different in this regard. If you are referring to (sp) secondary progressions ( there are a few different types of progressions) where 1 day = 1 year, the sun will move 1 degree per year, so for it to have any bearing it must be a degree or less for the year and this is a good place to start with orbs, if you are trying to see any bearing it might have on the moment. ![]()
